Aperture ROCKS!!!!
Um. I think the pictures speak a thousand words. I know this is not news to any photographers out there, but to actually see how shooting in RAW saved this precious picture was such an inspiration to me!!! I have really wanted to learn the ins and outs of my dSLR and shooting in manual and RAW is one thing I've really never done before. I have shot manual with not too great success and RAW editing on my computer was just frustrating. I could change a setting and then go get a sandwich before it would show!! LOL!!
My husband has a top of the line MacPro and he let me install Aperture on his computer and now the editing just FLIES!!! I can see that I will be using RAW and Aperture tons!! I love how it can save a picture that I would have (and have) just thrown away.

I had to find your blog from DST when I saw the RAW in the subject. I just got an XTi as well and I can't wait to get to learn it better. I have to find this Aperture thing you posted about and get it!!! Beautiful photo BTW.
I just got Aperture a couple of weeks ago along with a new Mac Pro. So nice to see what you have done with the photo! What an inspiration!!! Can't wait to get started on my photos! Going to bookmark your blog and hopefully get more inspiration from you! Thanks for sharing the photo!!!
