Life just seems to go in spurts of no activity and then TONS - so much that you just can't seem to get anything done. Well that was my week. I kept sitting down to write and nothing came out of my fingers. I wanted to write all about our Trips to the pumpkin patch, and I was so excited to go to our Harvest Festival around the corner so my mom and I took Melissa down there. It was a total bust. Hokey, rinky dinky, nothing fun. There were no prizes for the kids and all it had was food - kettle korn, hot dogs and roasted corn. All those aren't bad- I just expected something different, I guess. I expected happy kids running around playing in a pumpkin patch, or a corn maze, or SOMETHING. It was actually a Mardi Gras themed thing- and Melissa got a string of beads and a mask. Whoopee!! LOL!!

Anyways, I was so disappointed that I asked my mom if we could go to a pumpkin patch and take a few pictures. Melissa had so much fun playing in the pumpkins and chasing bubbles...so the night wasn't a total bust. Here's a layout I did with some of the pictures:

I have had a few honors come my way and I'm just so pleased!!! I was asked to be on three creative teams for my scrapbooking!! Shabby Miss Jenn, Lucy Marino and Agnes Lahur!!! I will be showing some of their new kits and my layouts I've created with them!

The first two are from Shabby Miss Jenn's New Halloween Kit. I love the fact that she used my favorite - PURPLE in a halloween kit - her elements are so realistic and the stitches are TDF!!!!!!!! Wait until you see all the little charms and the tags that come with this kit - you'll love them!!

Next is Lucy...I did my scraplift with her beautiful new Alyssa's DreamCatcher Kit, available at digiscrapshak.com! I really love her colors and if you haven't seen those stitches yet, you NEED to!! I think I'm becoming a stitch junkie!!!! The colors are so rich and textural - you won't be disappointed in this one!!!!

Finally last but certainly not least is Agnes Lahur. We did one of her layouts as a scraplift a while back and I have always loved her gallery - and it was such an honor for her to ask me to be on her team!! I immediately scrapped this with one of her kits, Eastern Connection and Rain Rose Garden, both available at plain digital wrapper dot com!!
